torchcell.datamodels.schema.GeneEssentialityPhenotype

class GeneEssentialityPhenotype(*, provenance_gaps: list[~torchcell.verification.sourced.ProvenanceGap] = <factory>, graph_level: str = 'node', label_name: str = 'is_essential', label_statistic_name: str | None = None, is_essential: bool = True, evidence: ~torchcell.datamodels.schema.GeneEssentialityEvidence)[source]

Bases: Phenotype, ModelStrict

Phenotype indicating whether a gene knockout is lethal.

is_essential is the release’s own call. What that call IS differs by store, so every record also carries its evidence (#924): the evidence class and type, the scoring rule and the source’s definition of the call, quoted with sha256, and the per-record statistics of its type. A released call with no boolean (a footprinting X or ?, a TraDIS “unclear”) is refused here; it is a graded call, not a boolean.

model_config: ClassVar[ConfigDict] = {'extra': 'forbid', 'frozen': True}

Configuration for the model, should be a dictionary conforming to [ConfigDict][pydantic.config.ConfigDict].
