class AlleleEdit(*values)

Bases: StrEnum

How a background allele’s sequence differs from the R64 locus.

• full_deletion: the ORF removed with no marker left (the BY delta0 designer deletions: leu2-delta0, ura3-delta0, met15-delta0, lys2-delta0).

• partial_deletion: an internal deletion that leaves ORF flanks (his3-delta1).

• cassette_replacement: the ORF replaced by a cassette named in cassette (can1-delta::STE2pr-Sp_his5, pdr1-delta::natMX).

• sequence_variant: an in-place change (a point or nonsense mutation).
