Bases: StrEnum

HOW an environment-response readout was physically measured (experimental design).

Orthogonal to MeasurementType (WHAT the number is): a pooled Bar-seq assay can yield a log2_ratio OR a z_score, so the two axes cross. The free-text units string is NOT a substitute for this typed method axis.

  • pooled_competitive_growth_barcode: pooled competitive growth read out by molecular barcodes (HIP/HOP, Bar-seq).

  • colony_size_array: pinned colony-size array (SGA / condition-SGA).

  • spot_dilution: serial-dilution spot growth on plates.

  • halo_zone: halo / zone-of-inhibition (disk-diffusion) assay.

  • liquid_od_growth: liquid-culture optical-density growth curve / MIC.

  • biosensor_readout: a biosensor / reporter signal (e.g. fluorescence).

  • other: a measured assay not covered above (record detail in units).
