class BiologicAgentClass(*values)

Bases: StrEnum

Material class of a proteinaceous / biologic agent added to the medium.

Identity of a biologic is carried by sequence / UniProt, NOT an InChIKey – which is exactly why it cannot be a SmallMoleculePerturbation.

• peptide: a short (ribosomal or synthetic) peptide, e.g. an antimicrobial plant defensin.

• protein: a full-length protein / enzyme.

• antibody: an immunoglobulin or antibody fragment.

• toxin: a proteinaceous toxin as an ADDED agent (never a phenotypic consequence).
