resolve_database(version: str, uri: str, user: str, password: str) → str[source]

The database name to open for version.

latest and pinned are aliases and pass through once the DBMS has them; a physical database name passes through; a release id or a major.minor version resolves through the release nodes. Anything else raises LookupError.
