write_build_manifest(dataset: Any) → Path

Compute and write build_manifest.json for a freshly built dataset instance.

Called from the post_process build hook (torchcell/data/experiment_dataset.py), so every dataset build records its schema contract automatically. dataset is typed Any to avoid importing ExperimentDataset here (which would create an import cycle, since that module imports this one).
