Return a new graph with gene annotations derived from IGI experiments removed.

IGI stands for “Inferred from Genetic Interaction”, which could create circularity when used to predict genetic interactions. The original graph is not modified.

Parameters:

G_go – Input Gene Ontology graph

Returns:

A new filtered copy of the graph
