Build a GeneMultiGraph from the requested graph names.

Only loads the specific graphs requested, avoiding unnecessary computation.

Parameters:

  • graph – An SCerevisiaeGraph instance containing various graph types

  • graph_names – List of graph names to include in the multigraph. If None, returns None.

Returns:

A GeneMultiGraph containing the specified graphs, or None if graph_names is None.

Raises:

ValueError – If any graph name in graph_names is not a valid graph type.
